First Pilot — Pilot A

Expert-network operations: one practice, one network, one workflow

GEN earns trust the bounded way. The first pilot helps an expert practice turn expert-network roster memberships into an organized, compliant pipeline — profile readiness, availability, follow-up, and the conversion of paid consultations into advisory and board conversations.

The pilot shape

  • One approved expert practice — a single operator's practice, with their own records and their own ownership of every profile and contact.
  • One network relationship first — the strongest verified membership leads; the rest of the roster follows once the workflow is proven.
  • One workflow — profile refresh and reactivation, run end to end.
  • Agreed duration and baseline — the measures below are baselined before work starts, and the pilot ends in an explicit accept-or-stop decision.

Deliverables: reconciled records, a named owner and next action on every record, a stale-record queue, follow-up drafts prepared for human approval (a human sends — always), and a weekly operating report.

The boundary, in plain words

Expert-network operations is supply-side operations. It is not private-equity deal sourcing, and it is not deal origination.

The distinction is not a technicality. An expert's paid consultations happen under each network's compliance rules — no material non-public information, and cooling-off rules around former employers. Insight from those calls belongs to that engagement and is never used to source deals, build target lists, or serve any other workflow. Confusing the two would be a sales error and a compliance risk at the same time, so this page states it outright.

What success is measured on

The same baseline measures as every GEN pilot: record completeness, duplicate rate, stale records, overdue next actions, and administrative time — plus, for this pilot, the practice's own agreed test of whether organized follow-up produces booked consultations over the pilot window. No outcome is promised in advance: not calls, not board seats, not income. The design is the offer; the measurements will say what it is worth.

What comes after acceptance

Once Pilot A's workflow is proven and accepted, the same bounded pilot shape is offered to the next template: pipeline operations for PE and holding firms — the parent-firm framework applied to a firm's own relationship and target pipeline. That is the next pilot, stated as next. It is not the current one.

The pilot expert and the networks involved are not named on this public page. GEN names people publicly only with their explicit permission; until then, the page describes the template, not the people.

Run your practice like a system

If your expertise is rostered in more places than you can keep current, that is exactly the workflow this pilot organizes.
